Channels of Distribution for Consumer Goods.

Regional channels of distribution established for distribution of consumer products directly from producers to the consumer.

All products distributed on regional markets on retail and wholesale basis.

These channels play a significant role in whole supply chain of consumer market.

Additionally they provide information of new products from producers to consumers, and give an important feedback regarding offered products from customers to suppliers.

Types of Distribution Channels

Distribution channels divided into the following types of sales operations:

Producer to Consumer – Distribution Channel:
In this method orders go directly from the consumer via regional distribution unit to the producer. This method is only applicable for suppliers that able to deliver small orders.

Producer to Retailer to Customer – Distribution Channel:
In this method, producers sell products to regional distribution units. Then regional distribution units are selling ordered goods to the local consumers via group’s retail stores and wholesale centers.

However, in either methods all products should comply with the product safety legislations established on distribution markets. Therefore purchasing department of distribution channels carefully selects all products.
