EMN Europe strives to build relationships with associated vendors and manufacturers on principles of a transparent, well organized and mutually beneficial partnership.

Our assortment policy constitutes a list of requirements and takes into account the balance of brands, price segmentation, product lines, seasonality, quotas for the quantity of merchandise in product categories, regional and local features.

If you are a supplier who would like to initiate a potential business relationship with us, please submit your offer and products specifications. We will inform you if there is a need for any additional information.

Proposals submitted in other than specified format cannot be accepted.

All suppliers with expectations of doing business with EMN Europe must be approved by the Category Management Team. Once approved, you will be notified by your Category Manager with a formal confirmation.

Orders Processing

EMN Europe Central Purchasing Division may pay to supplier on behalf of the regional unit (consignee) for ordered goods according to signed delivery contract.

Payment

The payment for ordered goods should be executed according to approved payment terms of supplier. Therefore, supplier liability insurance is required.

Delivery

Usual delivery terms are EXW or FCA – (based on delivery contract)

Supplier provides or delivers a product, ordered and paid by the regional unit or by EMN Europe central purchasing division.

The delivery contract should be signed for each shipment.

As most of suppliers have their own delivery terms, the standard delivery contracts of suppliers can be taken as a basis (subject to approval).

Specifications, prices and quantities are subjects to negotiations and approval for each order.

Shipments

Our authorized forwarders able to collect goods of suppliers and transport them to regional distribution units at the markets of destinations by using most optimal logistics options.

However if supplier prefers to deliver products by the own forwarder, then supplier’s freight forwarder should be able to do the following on supplier’s behalf:  >>

Quality Control

The quality control is according to the international control system. Otherwise an independent third party expertise can be required. Additional requirements can be subjects of additional negotiations. 

Responsibilities

Indemnification

EMN Europe cannot be held responsible for any errors of supplier or products, delivered by supplier.

Supplier is solely responsible for quality of its products, accuracy, functionality or operation of its service.

Duration

Normally participation in Regional Supply Program is valid for one year. 

Termination

Supplier may terminate its participation at any time by giving a notification to EMN Europe.

When goods are prepaid before the termination, supplier should fulfil its obligations to deliver products or refund the received payment according to delivery contract.

Extension

Supplier may apply for the extension of its participation in the program for the next period.

The decision of EMN Europe will be based on cooperation experience with supplier during the previous period.

The result will depend on supplier’s capabilities to supply according to requirements and product’s quality.

EMN Europe reserves the right to exclude supplier from the program due to systematic delays of quotations upon requests or improper deliveries.

Liability

According to Eurotrade Liability Insurance policy, (European product legislations, the safety and environmental requirements imposed by European legislations.) EMN Europe may cooperate with registered / verified and approved suppliers only.

For companies from outside the EU verification procedure depends on the country of origin. (Based on current market situation, nomenclature and quotas.)

Application

Supplier may fill out the application form.

Complete and submit an application form, stating your product’s specifications and company details. This information will allows us to evaluate your offer and we will inform you about the result based on our current market situation. Typically, if no extraordinary circumstances apply, the whole process from online application to result confirmation can be concluded within few working days.

Confirmation

Within several working days if we can recognize that your products are matched to our market’s demand, and if your application is approved, you will be mailed a confirmation with additional details. 

EMN Europe will start to cooperate with your organization upon accomplishment of your registration.

Approved suppliers are entitled to participate in a supply procedure for associated regional retail chains and HoReCa division.

Convenience stores – more than 10.900
Distribution centers – more than 1.700
Hypermarkets – more than 1.500
Special stores – more than 1.400

If your application is not approved at this time, you may apply again not earlier than one month later.
